Getting somewhere

My days are currently all blurring into each other. Sometimes it feels a bit like swimming upstream. Keeping on top of everything is an impossibility. As soon as one thing is crossed off the To Do list, another two or three things get added onto the end.

On top of a full time job and blogging weekly, I have decided to undertake part-time study. In addition to a 40-hour work week, it entails three evenings a week in class, plus take home assessments. Trying to devote quality time to relationships, friendships and family on top of all this becomes difficult. Sometimes, although I hate to admit it, they’re a bit of an afterthought.

I know I’m not the only out there struggling to juggle everything. Others might be caring for an elderly or ill relative, trying to raise a few boisterous children, or working two or three jobs to make ends meet. It’s hard to see the end in sight.

It’s times like these that you have to keep your eye on the prize. Think back to the reasons you choose this path. Is it still the path you want to follow?

Hopefully, the answer is a resounding yes!
